Cleanup Days – These are held the same time every year.
Spring – the first Saturday in May.
Fall – the last Saturday in October.
The City of Chaska will accept your yard waste from 8am-2pm at Athletic Park located at 725 West First Street.
The Jonathan Association will once again this year have crews making ONE pass through each neighborhood for curbside pickup and will take it to Athletic Park for you.
Pickups will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is for BRUSH & YARD WASTE ONLY (any garbage will be left behind)!
All brush and yard waste must be in compliant bags (per Carver County regulations and the City of Chaska as of 2010, see www.rethinkrecylcing.com .) and placed curbside. Definition of compliant bags—Paper OR compostable plastic bags (white, transparent, or green in color) usually with a biodegradable logo or wording on the bag itself.Non-compliant or Black Hefty Bags will not be picked up curbside, however, they can be brought to Athletic Park where you will be responsible to empty the bags yourself. Twigs will also be picked up curbside, however, must be bundled and no longer than 4ft in length Diameter less than 3 inches, anything larger will be left behind. We want to ensure an easy and quick pick up for our crews in order to cover all neighborhoods within this six hour window of time!
